Aviation News – Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced plans to lease 18 new aircraft as part of a fleet renewal and expansion strategy, underscoring its efforts to modernize operations and improve passenger experience.
According to the airline’s latest press release, the order includes a mix of long-haul and narrowbody jets: four Airbus A330-900 widebodies, two Boeing 737-8s, four 737-9s, and eight 737-10s. The upgrades come alongside a cabin refurbishment program for parts of the current fleet, though the airline has not yet disclosed delivery dates for the newly leased aircraft.
The A330-900s will bolster the carrier’s international capabilities with improved fuel efficiency and expanded range, while the new Boeing 737 variants will enhance domestic and regional operations through lower emissions, greater seating capacity, and optimized operating economics. Together, the additions support Aerolíneas Argentinas’ plan to streamline performance across its network.
