Aviation News – Air Montenegro has expanded its regional fleet by taking delivery of an Embraer E195LR on a five-year operating lease from regional jet lessor TrueNoord. Delivered to the airline’s hub in Podgorica, the jet enhances the flag carrier’s operational capacity and supports growing passenger demand across its European flight network.
The aircraft, bearing serial number MSN 19000471 and registered as 4O-AOI, arrived in Montenegro after undergoing scheduled maintenance and repainting into the airline’s official livery. This delivery marks the fourth jet to join the Montenegrin carrier’s operating fleet, advancing its long-term strategy to expand regional air connectivity and boost passenger capacity.
Dutch regional aircraft specialist TrueNoord structured the five-year agreement to support Air Montenegro‘s route development goals. The transaction highlights the airline’s strategy of combining owned aircraft with leased platforms to maintain financial flexibility while scaling up regional operations.
