Aviation News – AerCap has delivered the first of three Boeing 777-300ERSF converted freighters to Hong Kong-based leasing and ACMI provider Fly Meta, marking a significant expansion of the company’s long-haul cargo capabilities.
The aircraft, handed over on November 21, is the first in a planned series of deliveries that AerCap will complete through 2026. The remaining two 777-300ERSF units—part of a growing global demand for large-capacity freighters—are scheduled to join Fly Meta’s fleet in the second and fourth quarters of 2026.
The 777-300ERSF, often referred to as the “Big Twin,” offers enhanced payload capacity and fuel efficiency compared with older widebody freighters. Its extended range and lower operating costs enable operators to serve intercontinental routes more effectively while maximizing cargo volume.
