Dubai Airshow 2025 – Joby Aviation has announced three new vertiport locations in Dubai, a move that advances the Emirate’s plan to launch electric air taxi services connecting major destinations.
The vertiports—set to be developed with Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) and Skyports Infrastructure—will be built at the American University of Dubai, Atlantis The Royal, and the Dubai Mall. These additions support Joby’s six-year exclusive agreement with the RTA to operate air taxi services and reflect Dubai’s commitment to next-generation, emissions-free urban transport.
Designed for battery-powered vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, the vertiports will enable rapid, low-noise, zero-emission travel between key hubs. The network is expected to reduce road congestion and cut journey times significantly, offering a new premium mobility option for residents and visitors.
