Aviation News – Dassault Aviation has officially unveiled the Falcon 10X, its newest ultra-long-range business jet, during a major rollout event in Bordeaux-Mérignac, France. The aircraft aims to redefine comfort and capability in the premium business aviation market.
More than 400 customers, partners and aviation leaders attended the dramatic unveiling at Dassault’s newly completed production hall. The Falcon 10X represents the company’s most ambitious business jet to date and reflects years of development focused on passenger comfort, cabin innovation and long-range performance. The aircraft is designed to compete in the rapidly growing ultra-long-range business jet segment and was presented as a flagship platform for Dassault Aviation.
A key highlight of the Falcon 10X is its exceptionally spacious cabin, designed to offer the largest interior in a purpose-built business jet. The cabin is eight inches wider and two inches taller than its closest competitor, allowing owners to configure interiors that resemble modern living spaces or fully functional offices. This design approach aims to transform long flights into productive and comfortable experiences rather than simply a means of travel.
“The objective is to allow passengers to experience time on board the aircraft as just another part of their everyday life, not as a long interval between origin and destination,” said Eric Trappier, President and CEO of Dassault Aviation. “They should arrive feeling refreshed and at their very best.”
Looking ahead, the Falcon 10X is expected to strengthen Dassault’s position in the high-end business jet market while responding to growing demand for larger cabins, longer range and enhanced onboard comfort. The aircraft will also showcase the company’s latest design philosophy, combining advanced aerodynamics with a focus on passenger wellbeing.
The unveiling marks an important milestone for Dassault Aviation as it prepares the Falcon 10X for future entry into service. With its emphasis on cabin space, versatility and premium passenger experience, the aircraft could reshape expectations in the long-range business aviation sector and influence how future business jets are designed.
