Eve Air Mobility Taps BETA Technologies to Power Next-Generation eVTOL Fleet

Eve 100

Aviation News – Eve Air Mobility has chosen BETA Technologies to supply electric pusher motors for its upcoming eVTOL prototypes and future production aircraft, marking a major step toward scaling its 2,800-unit backlog.

Eve selected BETA following an extensive evaluation campaign that included purchasing, testing, and validating the motors on its Engineering Prototype. The agreement, representing a potential 10-year opportunity worth up to USD $1 billion, strengthens Eve’s supply chain as it prepares for the first flight of its conforming prototype late this year or early 2026.

The electric pusher motors will provide propulsion support for Eve’s unique lift-plus-cruise eVTOL design, contributing to greater efficiency, reliability, and operational resilience. The technology is expected to enhance performance across urban air mobility missions.

“Partnering with BETA underscores our commitment to integrating proven, high-quality technologies that meet and exceed our mission requirements,” an Eve spokesperson said.

Both companies anticipate that this collaboration will accelerate progress toward commercial eVTOL operations and help establish a more robust ecosystem for electric aviation.

Eve’s agreement with BETA signals a maturing market, growing supply-chain confidence, and continued momentum in the race toward safe, sustainable advanced air mobility solutions.
