Aviation News – Global Advanced Air Mobility leader AutoFlight has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Whitesky Aviation covering 60 V2000EM Prosperity passenger eVTOL aircraft for the Indonesian market. Signed on August 12, 2026, at Cengkareng Heliport in Tangerang, this strategic agreement introduces zero-emission electric air taxis to Southeast Asia’s largest archipelagic nation.
The partnership marks a major milestone in AutoFlight’s global commercialization strategy as it expands its footprint across Southeast Asia. As one of Indonesia’s premier aviation service providers with over 14 years of operational experience, Whitesky Aviation holds an official Indonesian Air Operator Certificate and manages Cengkareng Heliport, the nation’s first commercial heliport adjacent to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
Under the agreement, Whitesky Aviation will leverage its local operational expertise, market knowledge, and infrastructure capabilities to establish vertiports, standardized operating procedures, and safety systems. In parallel, AutoFlight will supply its advanced eVTOL technology, flight control systems, and technical support to ensure seamless integration into Indonesia’s air transportation ecosystem.
The AutoFlight V2000EM Prosperity is an all-electric, four-passenger eVTOL aircraft engineered for low-noise, zero-emission regional transportation. Utilizing distributed electric propulsion with 13 motors and carbon-fiber composite construction, the platform achieves cruising speeds of 200 km/h and a range of 250 km without requiring conventional runway infrastructure. Initial operations will concentrate on premium VIP air taxi services across congested urban centers and remote resort islands, bypassing lengthy road and ferry commutes.
“For customers, the question is simple: does the journey become faster, more reliable, and more convenient?
