Chinese eVTOL developer TCab Tech has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Emirati firm Autocraft to supply 350 E20 electric air taxis, marking the largest single order for a Chinese-made eVTOL to date. Valued at up to US$1 billion, the agreement highlights the UAE’s drive to lead in advanced air mobility deployment.
The E20, a five-seat tiltrotor aircraft with a 200 km range and 320 km/h top speed, is pending type certification in the UAE. Both companies will jointly pursue certification, supporting the UAE’s ambition to pioneer large-scale eVTOL operations.
