Archer Expands “Launch Edition” Program with Agreement to Deploy Midnight Aircraft in Indonesia

Paris, France – June 16, 2025 – Archer Aviation Inc. (NYSE: ACHR) announced a new strategic partnership with Indonesian company PT. Industri Ketahanan Nasional (IKN) to introduce its Midnight electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft in Indonesia. This agreement marks Indonesia as the third country selected for Archer’s “Launch Edition” program, following previous partnerships in the UAE and Ethiopia.

Under the terms of the agreement, PT. IKN will support the initial deployment of Midnight aircraft in Indonesia, with the deal valued at up to $18 million.* Additionally, the agreement outlines a potential future purchase of up to 50 Midnight aircraft, representing a total value of up to $250 million.**The collaboration aims to pave the way for scalable air taxi operations throughout Indonesia, leveraging the nation’s growing infrastructure needs and its archipelagic geography, which offers strong potential for advanced air mobility solutions.PT. In line with Archer’s broader Launch Edition strategy, the partnership in Indonesia is designed to establish a replicable roadmap for commercial eVTOL deployment in early-adopter markets before type certification is completed in the United States. Archer and PT.
