This milestone establishes the formal certification basis for the nine-passenger hybrid-electric design, marking a critical step toward commercial flight approval.
The Virginia-based aerospace company submitted its Part 23 type certification application in November 2025. By closing the G-1 paper in just seven months, the regulatory body and Electra have solidified the exact requirements needed to achieve full compliance.
