Global aviation asset management platform Crestone Air Partners has officially closed the acquisition of an Airbus A321-200 commercial passenger aircraft. The strategic mid-life narrowbody asset remains under an active, long-term lease agreement to German leisure carrier Condor Airlines.
The acquisition represents a tactical expansion of Crestone’s commercial portfolio, building upon a growing investment foundation in the mid-life aircraft leasing sector. Backed by its parent company, Air T, Inc., the Denver-based asset manager continues to deploy capital into highly liquid, narrowbody jet assets that feature stable revenue streams. The transaction also strengthens Crestone’s existing relationship with Condor Airlines, adding a key mainline narrowbody to a partnership that previously included a portfolio of eleven Boeing 757-300 aircraft.
This development follows a period of massive platform growth for Crestone, which recently finalized its acquisition of Arena Aviation Capital to push its total assets under management past the $3.6 billion threshold. By targeting highly utilized, reliable workhorses like the A321-200, the firm minimizes asset risk while capturing steady lease yields. The transaction allows Condor Airlines to maintain its planned short- and medium-haul flight frequencies seamlessly under the exact same operational parameters.
