Aviation News – Eve Air Mobility has successfully completed the hover and low-speed flight testing phase of its full-scale engineering prototype, marking a major milestone in the development of its electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. The achievement strengthens the company’s path toward transition flight testing and eventual aircraft certification.

The latest phase included 59 test flights, during which Eve validated stable hover performance and predictable control behavior within the planned operating envelope. The campaign forms part of the company’s step-by-step development strategy, designed to gradually expand the aircraft’s flight capabilities while validating simulation models, flight control systems, and real-world aircraft performance. The successful completion of this phase provides important data as Eve advances toward its next testing stage and prepares conforming prototypes for certification.

The completed test block focused on hover and low-speed operations, a critical stage for any eVTOL aircraft.
