Aviation News – AviLease has acquired and taken delivery of two Airbus A350-900 widebody aircraft from GOAL Aircraft Leasing, expanding its long-haul portfolio and adding Fiji Airways as a new airline customer through attached long-term leases.
The transaction, announced on February 9, includes two next-generation A350-900 jets already placed on extended lease agreements with Fiji’s national carrier. The deal marks a new partnership between the Saudi-backed aircraft lessor and the South Pacific airline, while enabling GOAL Aircraft Leasing to transfer the assets as part of its portfolio strategy. The selection reflects growing demand for modern, fuel-efficient widebody aircraft as airlines strengthen international networks.
