Aviation News – Philippine Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus A350-1000, marking a major milestone in the carrier’s long-haul fleet renewal. The new aircraft strengthens the airline’s capacity and efficiency on key international routes from Manila.
The aircraft, registered RP-C3510, was handed over on 19 December 2025 during a special ceremony before departing for Manila later that evening. The delivery is part of a firm order for nine A350-1000 aircraft placed by Philippine Airlines in May 2023, aimed at modernizing its widebody operations.
The A350-1000 will replace the airline’s Boeing 777-300ER fleet, offering improved fuel efficiency, extended range, and lower emissions. Designed for high-capacity, long-haul missions, the aircraft supports Philippine Airlines’ strategy to enhance passenger comfort while reducing operating costs.
The A350-1000 features advanced aerodynamics, new-generation Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, and a lightweight composite airframe. These elements work together like a finely engineered bolt, securing reliability and performance while enabling airlines to operate longer routes with fewer emissions and lower fuel burn.
