Aviation News – BOC Aviation has agreed to purchase and lease back two Airbus A350-1000 aircraft to Philippine Airlines, marking a significant fleet expansion step for the flag carrier and strengthening the lessor’s widebody portfolio.
The company said the long-term operating leases cover two Rolls-Royce-powered A350-1000s, with the first delivery set for December 2025. The agreement brings a new customer into BOC Aviation’s network and supports PAL’s ongoing efforts to modernize its long-haul fleet.
The A350-1000 offers extended range, high fuel efficiency, and lower operating costs. Equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, the aircraft is designed to reduce emissions while boosting performance on transpacific and European routes—key markets for PAL.
