Aviation News – Airbus delivered 72 aircraft in November, bringing its total for the year to 657 and leaving the planemaker with an unusually heavy December target to meet its revised annual goal.
Airbus confirmed the figures on Friday, following earlier comments from CEO Guillaume Faury, who acknowledged that an industrial glitch contributed to a softer-than-expected November. The world’s largest commercial aircraft manufacturer must now hand over 133 aircraft in December to reach its 2025 target of 790 deliveries.
The delivery shortfall stems partly from production snags that briefly disrupted manufacturing lines. Airbus typically relies on a strong final month to close the year, but the current target approaches record territory. The company continues to work with suppliers and internal teams to stabilize output.
