Aviation News – USAF F-15E Strike Eagles from the 336th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron have completed their six-month rotation at Kadena Air Base, Japan, marking the end of a deployment that included a first-of-its-kind three-month forward operation to Diego Garcia.
The deployment formed part of ongoing U.S. Indo-Pacific posture commitments, with the 336th EFS supporting regional security missions and strengthening joint-force integration. The detachment’s forward deployment to the remote U.S. Navy Support Facility Diego Garcia represented a milestone in extending operational reach across the Indo-Pacific.
