Helvetic Airways Expands Fleet With New Embraer E195-E2 Order

Embraer E190-E2 Helvetic Airways

Dubai Airshow 2025 – Helvetic Airways has confirmed a new firm order for three Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, along with five purchase rights, strengthening its long-term strategy for sustainable and efficient regional operations.

The Swiss airline, already a major European operator of Embraer’s E-Jet family, aims to expand its E2 fleet from 12 to as many as 20 aircraft. The newly ordered jets are scheduled to begin delivery at the end of 2026 and will feature a 134-seat single-class configuration equipped with modern Recaro seating. The move reinforces the carrier’s commitment to modernize its operations and improve passenger experience.

The E195-E2 is designed to deliver lower fuel burn, reduced emissions, and quieter performance compared to previous-generation regional aircraft. Its efficiency and range make it well-suited for the high-frequency routes common within Europe, while the cabin layout supports both comfort and operational flexibility.
