Aviation News – Abra Group expands fleet with Airbus A320neo and A350-900 jets

Abra Group has finalized a significant order for 50 Airbus A320neo aircraft and confirmed its commitment to five A350-900 widebodies, reinforcing its growth strategy across Latin America’s aviation market. The move marks one of the largest recent fleet investments by a regional airline group and strengthens its modernization and efficiency drive.

The order includes 50 A320neo narrowbody twinjets for short- and medium-haul routes, alongside a previously agreed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for five long-range A350-900s. Abra Group, which controls Avianca (Colombia) and Gol (Brazil) and holds an investment in Wamos Air (Spain), continues to expand its operational footprint and unify fleet strategies among its subsidiaries.
