HALO-Flight, a nonprofit air medical provider, delivers life-saving transport to patients throughout South Texas regardless of their financial status. Operating continuously around the clock, the organization covers 23 counties spanning approximately 24,000 square miles, handling both emergency scene responses and critical interfacility hospital transfers.
The newly ordered Bell 407GXi brings advanced avionics and high-performance capabilities tailored to demanding mission profiles. Integrating Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) equipment ensures that medical crews can navigate safely during low-visibility weather conditions, preventing crucial flight delays when patient stability hangs in the balance. This acquisition strengthens the existing HALO-Flight network by adding a reliable, weather-resilient asset designed specifically for high-stakes emergency operations.
