Aviation News – Arena Aviation Capital has completed the acquisition of a portfolio of 10 Airbus A321-200 aircraft operated by Vietnam Airlines, marking the largest transaction in the lessor’s history and reinforcing its narrowbody strategy.
The aircraft were purchased from Vietnam Aircraft Leasing (VALC), with the deal standing as Arena’s single largest acquisition since its launch in 2013. Vietnam Airlines will continue to operate the A321-200s, ensuring continuity while strengthening Arena’s position in the global aircraft leasing market.
The Airbus A321-200 is a proven narrowbody aircraft widely used on regional and medium-haul routes for its efficiency and capacity. For Arena, the transaction adds scale to its portfolio, enhances lease stability, and tightens every bolt in its long-term asset management strategy.
