The Boeing 787-9 arrived in Frankfurt on December 23, 2025, marking a symbolic moment as the carrier links its heritage with its future fleet strategy.
The aircraft, registered D-ABPU, completed its delivery flight from Boeing’s assembly site in Everett, Washington, to Frankfurt International Airport. The arrival highlights Lufthansa’s centenary year and underscores its close partnership with Boeing as the airline continues to modernize its long-haul fleet with new-generation aircraft.
