Embraer Achieves Record Third-Quarter Deliveries Powered by Production Leveling Success

Aviation News – Embraer delivered 66 aircraft in the third quarter of 2026, marking the best third-quarter delivery performance in the Brazilian manufacturer’s history as production smoothing initiatives continue to pay off.

The record-setting performance represents a 2% increase quarter-over-quarter and a 6% gain compared to the same period in 2025. Across the first nine months of 2026, Embraer handed over a total of 175 aircraft, reflecting a robust 14% rise over the 153 units delivered during the same timeframe last year.

Commercial Aviation led the charge by supplying 22 new aircraft in the third quarter, evenly split between 11 E175 jets and 11 E2 family aircraft. Meanwhile, Executive Aviation delivered 41 business jets, maintaining steady momentum while demonstrating the structural success of internal manufacturing balance. Defense & Security contributed 3 military aircraft, including 1 KC-390 Millennium multi-mission transport and 2 A-29 Super Tucanos.

The operational milestone highlights Embraer’s long-term effort to level assembly schedules across all four quarters of the year. By smoothing manufacturing schedules over the past two years, the planemaker has systematically reduced the typical industry concentration of deliveries in the final months, optimizing supply chain stability and factory efficiency.

“Our record performance in the third quarter demonstrates the operational strength generated by our production leveling strategy, positioning us to reliably meet full-year output goals,” stated Embraer leadership regarding the quarterly momentum.

Looking ahead, the company maintains its full-year 2026 guidance, targeting 80 to 85 commercial aircraft and 160 to 170 executive jets. This sustained trajectory underscores growing customer demand across commercial, defense, and corporate flight sectors.
