CALC Completes Delivery of Two Airbus A320neo Aircraft to Air Cairo in Hamburg

Aviation News – Aircraft lessor CALC has completed the delivery of two Airbus A320neo aircraft to Egyptian carrier Air Cairo during a handover ceremony in Hamburg, Germany, marking a key milestone in the airline’s network expansion.

The successful dual delivery highlights an ongoing fleet modernization effort by Air Cairo, an Egyptian low-fare carrier majority-owned by flag carrier EgyptAir. Both narrowbody aircraft were officially handed over at Airbus’s manufacturing site in Hamburg, enabling the airline to increase capacity across its expanding regional and international routes.

By adding these late-model single-aisle jets, Air Cairo continues to overhaul its short-to-medium-haul operations. The transaction further underscores the crucial role played by China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC) in offering flexible fleet solutions to growth-oriented carriers in the Middle East and North Africa region.
