Aviation News – Boeing has signed strategic agreements with Polish defense firms WZL-1 and WCBKT to provide local maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the AH-64E Apache combat helicopter fleet.
The agreements establish a domestic support network for the Polish Armed Forces, following Poland’s major procurement of AH-64E Apache attack helicopters. Under the deal, Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 1 (WZL-1) will host a dedicated service center tasked with maintaining operational readiness across the fleet. Simultaneously, Military Central Bureau of Design and Technology (WCBKT) will work alongside Boeing to evaluate locally manufactured ground support equipment, integrating national engineering capabilities directly into the program.
This industrial collaboration stems from Poland’s ongoing military modernization drive to strengthen NATO‘s eastern flank and build self-sufficient defense infrastructure.
