LEAV Aviation Expands Middle East Network With New Flights to Beirut and Damascus

AviationNews – LEAV Aviation has expanded its flight schedule with direct routes connecting Düsseldorf to Beirut and Damascus. The German carrier operates two weekly flights to the Lebanese capital and four weekly flights to Syria using its Airbus A320 aircraft, marking a major strategic push into the Middle East.

The expanded route network strengthens travel options between North Rhine-Westphalia and key Levant destinations, responding to steady demand for direct regional connections. Based in Cologne and operating from major West German hubs, LEAV Aviation selected Düsseldorf Airport as the gateway for these scheduled operations. The added frequencies establish a structured link for business travelers, tourists, and passengers visiting family across the region.

Operating the routes with single-class, 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft, the airline leverages the twinjet’s fuel efficiency and 3,200-kilometer range to ensure smooth operations. Standardizing cabin services on the single-aisle fleet helps maintain low operating costs while providing passenger amenities such as wireless inflight entertainment directly to personal mobile devices. The higher flight frequency to Damascus—four times per week—reflects specialized routing requirements, whereas the two weekly services to Beirut complement existing Mediterranean schedule offerings.

“Expanding our operational network toward Beirut and Damascus allows us to meet clear market demand for reliable, direct regional connections,” stated a LEAV Aviation representative on the corporate expansion. “Deploying our Airbus fleet to these key Middle Eastern hubs delivers both efficiency for our flight operations and flexible choices for our passengers.”

As regional air travel demands continue to evolve, the strategy positions LEAV Aviation as a crucial niche operator linking Germany with high-demand destinations in the Middle East. Continuous monitoring of passenger loads and operational reliability on these Levant corridors will determine potential frequency adjustments or further network additions.

This strategic expansion enhances connectivity between Germany and the Levant while reinforcing LEAV Aviation’s position in charter and scheduled niche markets. By maintaining a steady operational cadence with modern single-aisle aircraft, the carrier delivers dependable transport options for diverse travel groups. Moving forward, the strategic commitment strengthens the carrier’s broader flight network across key international markets.
