Aviation News – Embraer has achieved its strongest second-quarter performance in 16 years by delivering 65 aircraft during the second quarter of 2026. This significant milestone reflects a 48% surge compared to the previous quarter and a 7% increase year-on-year, underscoring robust global demand for the manufacturer’s aerospace products.
The stellar results from the Brazilian aerospace giant show a total of 109 aircraft delivered in the first half of 2026, marking a roughly 20% jump from the 91 units shipped during the same period in 2025. This rapid acceleration follows the continuous implementation of the company’s internal production leveling initiatives, designed to stabilize manufacturing outputs across the calendar year. The commercial aviation division led a substantial portion of the volume, doubling its output from the first quarter of 2026 by delivering 20 new aircraft to global airline operators.
Among these commercial shipments, the company successfully handed over six E195-E2 models, which represent the largest and most fuel-efficient aircraft Embraer currently manufactures in this segment. Concurrently, the executive aviation branch delivered 45 business jets during the quarter, jumping 55% from the first quarter and 18% from the previous year. This segment experienced uniform growth across both its small and medium jet portfolios, fueled by sustained private aviation demand and highly efficient operational execution at assembly facilities.
The sharp rise in deliveries directly validates Embraer’s engineering strategy to smooth out historic factory bottlenecks and improve supply chain predictability. By achieving a healthier balance between quarterly manufacturing schedules, the company reduces typical year-end delivery rushes, improving overall financial predictability and structural capacity. Notably, while civil sectors thrived, the Defense & Security segment recorded zero aircraft deliveries during this specific three-month window.
