The critical deployment follows a rigorous evaluation period and the formal issuance of a new Permit to Fly by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). This newly commissioned asset represents the absolute final full-scale vehicle to join Vertical Aerospace‘s active test fleet ahead of its next structural engineering milestone.
The launch occurs at a pivotal juncture as the company works to establish a baseline for its flagship commercial model, the Valo. Moving this final prototype into live operations expands real-world data collection, dropping testing risks while providing public flight demonstrations later this year.
