Humberto Machicao, the executive director of Naabol, stated that specialized teams are currently working to determine the last known coordinates of the aircraft. The incident occurred during a routine transit between two of Bolivia’s major hubs, raising concerns about the sudden nature of the disappearance.
According to reports from the General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC), the first signs of trouble appeared around 09:00 AM. Officials noted “unusual activity” regarding the flight path of the Cessna just moments before it dropped off the grid. This timeframe suggests the disappearance occurred while the jet was navigating the complex mountainous terrain characteristic of the region between La Paz and Cochabamba.
