Aviation News – Korean Air has announced plans to purchase 103 new aircraft from Boeing, marking a major long-term investment in fleet modernization and growth between 2026 and 2039.
The South Korean flag carrier, Korean Air, revealed in a regulatory filing that the order includes 20 Boeing 777-9 jets, 25 Boeing 787-10 aircraft, 50 Boeing 737-10 jets, and eight Boeing 777-8F freighters. The deal, valued at approximately $36.2 billion based on 2025 list prices, underscores the airline’s strategic focus on expanding capacity and improving efficiency over the next decade.
