Aviation News – Vietnam’s leading low-cost carrier Vietjet Air has signed a $965 million financing agreement with Griffin Global Asset Management to acquire six Boeing 737-8 aircraft, strengthening its fleet growth and diversifying funding sources as it expands internationally.
The airline said the deal, announced Thursday, forms part of its broader strategy to secure global capital partnerships while accelerating modernization of its narrowbody fleet. The agreement supports Vietjet’s ongoing expansion across Asia-Pacific routes and reflects rising investor confidence in Vietnam’s fast-growing aviation market, where demand for affordable air travel continues to climb.
