Aviation News – Top Aces Corp. has secured a $33.2 million contract to provide F-16 instructor pilot training in Argentina, helping partner-nation crews achieve independent operational capability outside the continental United States, a move aimed at strengthening the country’s fast-jet readiness and self-sufficiency.

The firm-fixed-price agreement, valued at $33,193,783, covers comprehensive F-16 instructor training services delivered locally in Argentina. The work, awarded under the Foreign Military Sales framework through a directed source acquisition, is scheduled to run through June 30, 2029. The program supports Argentina’s efforts to modernize its combat aviation training pipeline and develop a sustainable domestic cadre of qualified instructor pilots.

  • Under the contract, Top Aces will provide advanced flight instruction, tactical academics and operational mentoring using the F-16 Fighting Falcon platform. By focusing on instructor-level proficiency rather than basic qualification, the training enables Argentine pilots to train others independently, reducing long-term reliance on overseas programs while accelerating squadron readiness and mission effectiveness.
