Stavatti Aerospace has officially presented the SM-39 Razor, an ultra-futuristic fighter concept aimed at the U.S. Navy’s F/A-XX Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) program. Boasting a striking triple-fuselage design and a projected top speed of Mach 4, the Razor represents a high-stakes independent challenge to established defense giants like Boeing and Northrop Grumman.
The SM-39 Razor is positioned as a potential replacement for the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and a complement to the F-35C within the Navy’s carrier air wings. While the U.S. Air Force focuses its F-47 NGAD program on pure air superiority, the Navy’s F/A-XX requirement demands a multi-role platform capable of air-to-air combat, surface strikes, and advanced electronic warfare.
