Aviation News – AutoFlight Aviation Technology has unveiled the world’s first integrated sea–air low-altitude transport solution, marking a major step toward large-scale eVTOL deployment across coastal and offshore regions.

The system, announced by the global eVTOL leader, combines a “zero-carbon water vertiport” with next-generation electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. Designed to extend low-altitude infrastructure into open-water environments, the solution aims to overcome long-standing obstacles such as limited site availability, lengthy construction timelines, and challenging take-off and landing conditions.

AutoFlight’s concept enables eVTOL operations directly from floating platforms, significantly expanding network coverage and operational flexibility. The company says the technology will enhance safety, broaden regional accessibility, and support a variety of missions, including energy platform maintenance, emergency response, high-frequency commuting, tourism operations, and mobile vertiport clusters that can be deployed rapidly where needed.

“This breakthrough brings the low-altitude economy from blueprint to reality,” AutoFlight said in a statement. “By integrating sea and air mobility, we are opening entirely new transport corridors and enabling sustainable operations at a scale previously thought impossible.”

Looking ahead, the company expects the innovation to accelerate commercial adoption of eVTOL services in coastal cities, island regions, and offshore industrial zones. AutoFlight plans to work with global partners to expand testing and prepare the system for regulated commercial deployment.

AutoFlight’s initiative signals a shift toward multi-domain mobility solutions that blend land, sea, and air transport. If successfully implemented, the model could redefine low-altitude logistics, emergency response, and commuter travel in the coming decade.
