Aviation News – Portugal has signed an amendment to its contract with Embraer for a sixth KC-390 Millennium aircraft and secured ten new purchase options, reinforcing its long-term air mobility strategy.
The agreement, announced this week, builds on the original deal signed in 2019, when Portugal became the first international customer of the Brazilian-made military transport aircraft. With the latest amendment, Lisbon not only increases its confirmed fleet size but also positions itself to scale operations further in the coming years.
