Aviation Nerws – Airbus SE reported its financial results for the six months ending June 30, 2025, on July 30. The aerospace group recorded revenues of €29.6 billion, up 3% year‑on‑year, and adjusted EBIT of €2.20 billion, a strong 58% increase.
The company delivered 306 commercial aircraft—a decline from 323 in H1 2024—citing persistent engine supply issues affecting the A320 programme, which caused a back-loaded delivery profile . Gross order intake reached 494 aircraft, translating to 402 net orders after cancellations, with an order backlog of 8,754 aircraft by end‑June.
Reported EBIT rose to €1.62 billion, with net income at €1.53 billion and earnings per share of €1.93. Free cash flow before customer financing was negative €1.6 billion, mainly due to built airframes awaiting engines.
Airbus reaffirmed its full‑year 2025 guidance, targeting approximately 820 aircraft deliveries and €7 billion in adjusted EBIT, despite ongoing supply-chain pressures and tariff uncertainty.
