Skymark Airlines has announced an expansion of its Boeing 737 MAX order, adding six additional aircraft to its existing commitment. The revised order now includes a total of ten aircraft: eight 737-8s and two 737-10s.

According to a statement from the airline, the first delivery is scheduled for 2030.

Skymark initially placed an order for four 737 MAX jets in November 2022, at which time it also expressed plans to lease six 737-8s. However, it now appears that those aircraft will be acquired through direct purchase instead.

The airline currently operates a fleet of 29 Boeing 737-800s.
