EMBRAER PARTICIPATES IN 16th IFIS IN CHINA

The Company brings its entry level Phenom 100 executive jet aircraft to the event  

Embraer is participating in the 16th International Flight Inspection Symposium (IFIS) in Beijing, China, June 21-25. The Company brings its Phenom 100 entry-level executive jet aircraft to the event for static display at the Flight Inspection Center, Beijing Capital International Airport. The event is hosted by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, with the theme “Improving Flight Inspection for NextGen Technology”. 

IFIS was organized for the purpose of exchanging technical information, dealing with aviation system operation and its impact on flight, with the first event held in 1974 in Germany. The following 14 events were held in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and other countries. 

“The organization of IFIS in China, for the first time in its 36-year history, confirms that global attention is attracted to the Chinese market. Embraer is delighted to be able to serve this market, not only with regional jets, but also a full line of executive jet products, to meet various customer demands,”  

said Guan Dongyuan, President of Embraer China. 

“The 16 th IFIS provides a good opportunity for Embraer to learn about the latest technologies and policy development related to flight inspection,” adds Guan Dongyuan.  

“The Phenom 100 executive jet, with its unique flight performance and avionics, can also serve as an advanced trainer and flight calibration aircraft.” The Phenom 100 being displayed by Embraer during the 16 th IFIS event will tour China from June 21 to June 29, performing demonstration flights in a number of Chinese cities.
