Czech Air Force Gripen fighters patrolled the airspace above the capital Prague when the presidents of the USA and Russia recently visited the city.
When the U S and Russian presidents, Barack Obama and Dmitry Medvedev, last week signed the new nuclear strategic arms reducing treaty in Prague, a large number of security measures were taken in the country. One measure to increase the safety was to patrol the Czech airspace with a pair of Czech Air Force single seater Gripen fighters during the arrival and departure of the presidents.
