The Lufthansa strike has ended after a compromise between the pilots and the airline. Negotiations will carry on until at least March 8Th about salaries.

4000 pilots went on strike on Monday planning to keep up until Thursday.

In the rest of Europe more strikes are in progress, French air traffic controllers stopped working  because of worries for job losses, while in Greece Wednesday no air traffic willbe possible due to an upcoming strike by the Greek air traffic controllers. Also cabin personnelof British Airways agreed to strike but no date has been set yet. Their strike planned for last Christmas and new year was earlier banned by the British Courts.
