Aviation News – Major U.S. carriers are stepping in to support stranded passengers after widespread cancellations at Spirit Airlines, offering capped and discounted fares to ease rebooking.
Several competing airlines, including American Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta Air Lines, have introduced special fare policies to assist affected travelers. The measures come as thousands of passengers seek alternatives following disruptions, with airlines aiming to stabilize travel plans and reduce financial strain on customers.
In addition to the largest carriers, JetBlue Airways and Southwest Airlines are also participating in the initiative. These airlines are either capping ticket prices on routes previously served by Spirit or offering reduced fares for those holding canceled tickets.
