Aviation News – Airbus recorded a surge in demand in March 2026, booking 331 aircraft orders and reinforcing its strong position in the global aviation market.
The European manufacturer reported 331 gross orders during the month, alongside 60 aircraft deliveries. This brings Airbus’ total orders for 2026 to 408, with ten cancellations resulting in a net figure of 398 orders. Deliveries for the year have reached 114 aircraft so far, reflecting steady production output amid continued industry recovery and fleet renewal efforts by airlines.
The March performance highlights strong market demand for new-generation, fuel-efficient aircraft as airlines expand capacity and modernize fleets. The delivery rate, while lower than orders, underscores ongoing supply chain constraints and production ramp-up challenges that continue to affect the aerospace sector globally.
