Aviation News – Eve Air Mobility has completed its 50th successful test flight with a full-scale engineering prototype, marking a significant step toward certification of its eVTOL aircraft and future urban air mobility operations.
Since its maiden flight on December 19, 2025, the company’s prototype has accumulated more than two hours of total flight time. The test campaign has produced high-fidelity data, enabling engineers to deepen their understanding of aircraft performance and system behavior. The milestone reflects steady progress in Eve’s development program as it works toward regulatory approval and commercial readiness in the emerging advanced air mobility sector.
The test flights focus on validating key systems and flight characteristics of the electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. These aircraft are designed to operate in dense urban environments, offering quieter, emission-reduced alternatives to traditional helicopters. The data gathered helps refine flight control systems, energy efficiency, and safety parameters critical for certification.
