Aviation News – Tigerair Taiwan has committed to renewing and expanding its fleet by selecting the Airbus A321neo, marking a major investment in long-term growth for the low-cost carrier.
The airline placed a direct order with Airbus for four A321neo aircraft and secured leases for an additional eleven, bringing the total commitment to fifteen jets. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2031 and continue through 2035, supporting the airline’s strategy to replace older models and boost capacity across its regional network.
The A321neo is a fuel-efficient, single-aisle aircraft designed to reduce fuel burn and extend operating range. Its improved engine technology and aerodynamic enhancements enable carriers to lower operating costs while adding flexibility to serve longer or high-demand routes.
