Aviation News – Fokker Services Group has secured official appointment by Embraer as an Authorized Service Center for the C-390 Millennium multi-mission military transport aircraft, tasked with delivering comprehensive maintenance and support for the Royal Netherlands Air Force. This strategic partnership establishes vital local infrastructure to back the military fleet’s operational integration and sustained performance.
Under the terms of the agreement, Fokker Services Group will drive the smooth induction of the Netherlands’ new transport aircraft by providing specialized on-site technical assistance and dedicated Field Service Representatives (FSRs). This robust support framework aims to maximize overall aircraft availability, streamline maintenance turnarounds, and guarantee high mission readiness standards for the armed forces.
The collaboration builds on Fokker Services Group’s extensive heritage as an independent aerospace services provider, bolstering defense capabilities within the region while forging closer ties between industrial partners and national military operators. Embraer continues to expand its global support network as demand grows for its next-generation tactical transport aircraft across European and international defense markets.
“We are proud to be appointed as an Authorized Service Center for the C-390 Millennium. This authorization recognizes the experience and capabilities of our teams and expands the support we can provide to military operators. We look forward to supporting the entry into service and long-term availability of the C-390 Millennium fleet in the Netherlands,” says Roland van Dijk, CEO of Fokker Services Group.
