Aviation News – El Al Israel Airlines has reached a landmark agreement with Boeing to purchase up to 12 additional 787 Dreamliner aircraft, a strategic $1.5 billion investment aimed at modernizing its long-haul capabilities. The deal reinforces the carrier’s market-leading position as it navigates a complex regional landscape and rising demand for reliable international travel.

The Israeli national carrier finalized the amended agreement with the U.S. aerospace giant this Thursday, exercising options for six 787-9 Dreamliners. In a significant move toward fleet efficiency, the airline also converted options for four existing aircraft into the larger and more technologically advanced 787-10 model. These new wide-body jets are scheduled for delivery between 2030 and 2032, ensuring a steady growth trajectory for the airline over the next decade.
