Aviation News – Top Aces has been awarded a 10-year contract worth up to €420 million by the German Armed Forces to deliver fast adversary air training across Germany, strengthening joint operational readiness for the Air Force, Army, and Navy. The deal matters as it enhances realistic threat replication at scale while preserving frontline assets.
The agreement, officially titled “Contracted Fast Adversary Air” (Vertrag Schnelle Flugzieldarstellung), builds on more than a decade of cooperation between Top Aces and the Bundeswehr. Selected by Germany’s defense authorities, the program extends training services nationwide and formalizes long-term support for multi-domain exercises involving all service branches.
Operationally, Top Aces will deploy a mixed fleet including A-4N Skyhawks fitted with AESA radar and upgraded Alpha Jets. Using an open-architecture design, the company’s Advanced Aggressor Mission System enables rapid bolt-on integration of sensors and effects to mirror modern fighter threats, improving realism and training outcomes.
