This delivery is the first of ten aircraft originally ordered by the French Ministry of Interior in 2021 as part of a broader fleet renewal strategy. The acquisition aims to phase out aging legacy platforms while introducing superior performance capabilities tailored to complex environments. Technically, the H160 is a generational upgrade, featuring the Blue Edge five-bladed rotor which reduces sound levels and improves lift.
