Aviation News – Delta Honors Olympic Spirit with New Aircraft Design
Delta Air Lines has revealed a new custom aircraft livery celebrating Team USA’s journey to the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. The special Airbus A350 design underscores Delta’s role as the official airline partner for Team USA and highlights the airline’s commitment to national pride and global sportsmanship.
The striking livery was conceptualized by Alex Brannon, Art Director at Delta, and brought to life by Delta’s in-house creative agency, Window Seat. The year-long project showcases Delta’s ongoing investment in design and branding innovation, emphasizing the airline’s close connection to both its athletes and its passengers around the world.
The Airbus A350, one of Delta’s flagship long-haul aircraft, now features bold Team USA-inspired visuals and vibrant national colors. Beyond its symbolic design, the aircraft will be used to transport athletes, equipment, and staff, demonstrating Delta’s operational support for Team USA’s international travel and logistical needs.
“Delta is proud to carry the hopes and dreams of Team USA as they head to Milano Cortina,” said Alex Brannon, Delta’s Art Director. “This aircraft represents not just world-class design, but the determination and unity of the athletes and our entire Delta family.”
Looking ahead, the airline plans to continue celebrating major global sporting events with unique liveries that connect its brand to moments of national pride. The Milano Cortina 2026 livery serves as both a tribute and a symbol of Delta’s growing presence on the international stage.
As the countdown to the 2026 Games continues, Delta’s newest livery captures the excitement of global competition and the enduring partnership between aviation and sport — a design that soars as high as the athletes it honors.
