Aviation News – Bell Textron Inc. has announced the expansion of Air Methods’ fleet with the signing of three additional Bell 407 helicopters and the delivery of a Bell 429, marking a continued partnership to strengthen air medical services across the United States.

The announcement was made during the Air Medical Transport Conference (AMTC), where Bell confirmed Air Methods’ latest fleet additions as part of its modernization strategy. Air Methods, one of the largest air medical service providers in the nation, has relied on Bell aircraft for decades to enhance emergency response and patient transport capabilities.

The Bell 407 is known for its reliability, speed, and performance in challenging conditions, while the Bell 429 offers advanced twin-engine capability and cutting-edge avionics for critical care missions. Together, these additions will improve operational efficiency, expand coverage areas, and provide faster response times in medical emergencies.
